New York Knicks Star Amar’e Stoudemire Injures Hand After Punching Glass

It’s been a frustrating 2012 playoffs for New York Knicks so far, and now things seem to have gotten even worse after one of their star players Amar’e Stoudemire injured his hand after punching the glass covering a fire extinguisher after the Knicks’ loss to the Miami Heat on Monday night. Amar’e had 18 points and 7 rebounds in the 104-94 Game 2 loss, but it looks like he may be out for the next game, paramedics had to be called!

  1. One of the funniest stories of the year for sure and this one will go down in history as one of the all time stupid things done by a professional athlete. Punching walls or stuff like that isn’t uncommon in the real world but when a professional athlete does something like what Amare Stoudemire did that puts him out of an NBA playoff game it is absolutely insane. Emotions run high but you wonder really what is going on in his head when he starts to put his fist together to punch the glass. Also, it’d be great if you could take a peek over at my latest article because I would be thrilled to hear what you have to say http://chrisross91.wordpress.com/2012/05/01/a-blessing-in-disguise/

    • He didn’t want play, with all of the professional athletes that I’ve met..they love the game, whether winning or losing. Pros do things because they have there money, I’m SURE he sent a message to the world that world peace will never exist, it’s only for the moment, until someone gets pissed off, who knows what pissed him off, but any action on that level was a message sent, who knows if the coach told him to do it, or the same voice in his head that told him to change his name to metta world peace, as they say don’t trust the chick in apt 23, that’s what’s going around on the streets.
